Wow!! BRigHT~~

Yep, yep, I decided to change the look of my blog, and the title as well. I was thinking to myself, and I don't think I'm only enjoying this stage of life, but my life as a whole. I enjoyed the past, and I will continue to enjoy it in the future, bitter or sweet.

Hope you guys like it.

I'm sTIll KIckINg~~

It didn't last for two days. I gave up after a day and 6 hours.

I had my dinner right after work. I didn't feel really hungry at that time, but I truly had no strength at all. If I keep going on, I will not be able to work tomorrow for sure.

Nothing had came out from my body during this experiment though. Maybe it's because I was working most of the time. I go to bed as soon as I can, coz I know I gotta save some power for later.

My conclusion is that anybody who tend to do this should not do it if there's a job to do. At least have yogurt or anything light that can support your body. Moreover, I think I won't be able to survive if I get lost somewhere in the dessert or forest. Water is not enough for me even for one single day.

I shall try again next month. It was an interesting experiment.

Furthermore, I shall now go to bed immediately.

CLeaRIng & CLeaNSinG StoMAch

It has been 9 hours since I started to stop eating.

This idea just popped into my mind last night before falling asleep. I've never done this, and I bet there's tons of dirty things going on in my stomach and gastrointestinal tract. I'm only drinking water now and I will keep doing this for at least 2 days, hopefully it will last for 3 days, if my will is strong enough.

I'm hungry now, but not starving to death yet. Hope I won't faint tomorrow at work.

jUNk fOOd dAY!!

Yeah!! Junk food day! Kentuky Fried Chicken! Big Variaty Bucket including 8 boneless BBQ chicken fingers, 4 crispy strips, 1 large popcorn chicken, 2 large slaws, 4 biscuits, and a half-a-gallon drink. I was stunned when I was passed the MEGA Jug. Huge container, I gotta tell you. Sometimes I really wonder what kind of life this is in America, thank god I love to cook food myself.

Can't believe that this junk meal cost me 19 USD. Maybe next time I'll just have the buffet at KFC. All you can eat for just 7 USD.

:(

This is me the very next day after ice-skating. Bruises all over my knees. Fortunately, I didn't feel sour as much as my co-workers did.

Maybe I'm getting too old for ice-skating.

GEt-aWAy tRIp

This is the first time I hang out with my co-workers outside of Terre Haute. We went for a little trip to Indianapolis for one day. A little get-away.

What I'm wearing is for the professional Hockey players.

Everything we did today was my first-time, they're all fresh to me. First stop, ice-skating. Very difficult sport to me. I felt so handicapped on the ice, and I figured out that I lost a lot of learning abilities that I had when I was little. Afraid of falling, so I was extremely careful. However, I still had several serious falls.

After exercising, we went to iMax, a kind of 3D movie theater. It was fun! We chose to watch "Sharks". We thought it was going to be scary, but it turned out to be very educational. Hahaha... we still had a great time though. 90 minutes for about 8 USD, not a bad bargain.
There should be some in iMax theater in Taiwan I think. Good place.

Cheese Cake Factory!! Friday's kind of restaurant that makes American food. I had shrimp and crab salad. The dark pink drink in the background was the peach smoothie that I ordered. It had a strawberry and a piece of pineapple on the edge.

My silly co-workers.

Cheese Cake Factory is famous for their cheese cakes, so I ordered this Oreo kind of Chocolate cheese cake. It was so thick and sweet, it actually took me THREE meals to finish it. Signature American food....
I won't be able to go wherever I want to on weekdays from tomorrow, coz I'm gonna start my old waitress job again. Gotta do something for a living, you know.

maCAroNI & CheESe

One of the classical American food that you gotta try in the States--macaroni & cheese. It is so classic that a lot of companies are making this kind of instant macaroni & cheese.

It is very scary to know that I had to use 4 tablespoon of butter for this meal, although it serves about 3-4. I added chicken to upgrade it a little bit.

In conclusion, once in a lifetime is plenty.

rePOttINg iVY baBY

I noticed that the ivy's root has starting to come out from the bottom of its original pot, so I decided to repot it. I bought my ivy baby a bigger pot, which I later found that it might be a little bit bigger than the next pot it supposed to be repotted. But, oh well, he's gonna be happy to find all the extra space in the new pot, I hope.

It was fun to move my ivy baby to its new home. But I'm just wondering--can I bring him onto the airplane with me when I'm ready to travel back home?
??

P.S. The Ceneria baby I bought along with the ivy died a week after it got home. I think I'm not really ready to take care of flowers. :(

piG KnuCKleS ThiN NooDLe

Today, I made myself a big bowl of Taiwanese thin noodle with pig knuckles. This dish is known to be getting rid of bad lucks in Taiwan. I hope I will be able to get a job soon in the future. Making my own real money. :)

By the way, it wasn't bad. But the pig knuckles sold in the supermarkets in the States don't have any meant in them. That's the only drawback. I'm not really talented in cooking, I'm just always crave for a lot of food that isn't easy to obtain. Therefore, I ended up cooking all those food with my own hands.

HapPY thE Day AFteR EasTEr!!

See this?! Only one day difference, and these items are half their original price! Can you believe that? It's only limited to Easter items, though. But I still found a lot of great bargains. For example:

CHOCOLATE!! Easter bunny brings chocolate, so there are a lot of limited edition of chocolate on sale. For this box of 16 little babies, I only paid $2.44!! Man, it was $4.88 yesterday! Also, the background of this picture is a place mat, and it cost only $0.70 after discount. It was originally sold at $1.44. I didn't go out yesterday, because I had a little shopping plan for today. Great day after Easter, huh?

TWo oF My fAVorATe cHIldHOod BOokS

When I was little, and when I was still staying in the States with my parents, I got a lot of children books from my parents. Picture books, pop-up books, story book, you name it. You might think I do a lot of readings, but actually I scan through most of them, always focusing on the pictures. I remember a lot of the pictures that I've "read" when I was little. Among all the image, Richard Scarry's children books are the most impressive ones.
??
I've always wanted to buy some of his books, and I made it tonight. I missed them so much! Now that I can read English, I found the stories as interesting as the pictures!! I think people should read at least one of his books in their lives.
??
Richard Scarry died in 1994, that's what I've found earlier today. So sad to know that. But at least he had his books past down. If I have chance to teach English to any age of students, I will choose his books as one of the teaching material. And also, I will have my children, if it really happens in the future, read his wonderful books.

RaiN!! RaiN!! RaiN!!

Thunder storm! Heavy rain! I love rainy days as long as I don't have to go outdoor.
??
Somehow, I'm a person who enjoys reading in rainy days. Outside is such a hazzard, but it's all comfortable and dry inside. What a great weather!
??

Plus, I know that there will be lots of blossoms tomorrow. "April shower, May flower", right?!
