MovINg tO My nEW apARtmENt

Yep, I got my own single apartment. I thought the university would kick out people who no longer studies in school, but I found out that the Residential Life Office has a contract with University Apartment saying that students graduated from the university who apply for and were admitted to Optional Practical Training, may stay in family housing up to one year. As a result, I got my own apartment within a day.

Although it's pretty expensive and I can barely afford it, at least I've gotten my own space to work on job hunting. I hope it's worthwhile.

Living room. Air-conditioned. It's on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot, so the scenery is just ok.

Kitchen. There's a huge fridge on the left side of the picture. It's a fantasy-like kitchen.

Bedroom. Only equippted with heater. Pretty large. More than enough for me.

The closet in my bedroom. HUGE!!

Bathroom as you can see is bright and clean. I'm gonna take a bath with Mr. Bubble (I mean the bathing product that creates bubble bath) everyday. :)

Ask ME: hoW's THe lIfe STudYIng ABroaD?

I would answer you:

"Actually, if I really think about it, I don't really know what's the hard part of studying abroad. Except for being apart from the family, and the part that you can't always get what you want to eat, I really don't see why people say it's so hard to study abroad. I guess that's something good."

- Quoted from what I said in a personal messege between me and my dad

A GooD StuFF to SHarE

Do you have any idea how much this half of gallon of juice is here in America? It's 1 USD, which is around 32 NTD. How cheap is that?! My conclusion is as the following:

Jiuce or Milk= Water/(<-- the environment [linguistics jargon]) America

i mADe iT!!

I finally made it to the highest point I can get to on campus--the top of the education department's building. It's on 15th floor, and it is said that you can view the whole campus if you go to that floor.

I heard this for a while, but I never made up my mind to do that. So I did it this afternoon. I guess it's one of the things I gotta do before leaving school. I tried to take at least one picture for each direction, and they are posted below:

It's really hard to recognize the buildings from such a high altitude, but the one and only building that you gotta know is the blue one in this picture above. It's Root Hall, my department's building.

The baseball/ softball field. On campus softball game will begin soon in Spring.

I'm STilL AliVE & KicKIng!!

I'm so sorry to abandon my blog for so long. Tons of stuffs happened during this time. During summer, I went to Grand Canyon, Arizona. I went to Parke County in Indiana for the Covered Bridge Festival. It was beautiful at the end of Fall. I went to Boston for 2007 New Year countdown, and above all, I got graduated from Indiana State University this....hmmm, actually last December!! I've obtained my master degree in Arts along with Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language Certificate. How cool is that?! Maybe we'll see when all the efforts pay off, which would be the day when I get a job.
