Oh mY SweET jeSUs...

皆さんこんにちわ。

Not that I'm Christian, but I'm in Japan for the first time ever!! It has been a very long trip to get here from the States, especially when you've been staying for 2 and 1/2 years. With all the luggage I'm carrying with me, I bet there's at least 50 kg, sort of like another me. It took 20 hours to get from Indiana State, U.S.A., to Tokyo, Japan. And that's not it, coz I had to go to my apartment from Narita International Airport, which took me another 3 and 1/2 hours. And this is only the time that I spent, you have no idea how much "effort" I put to drag everything including me to my new place.

Anyhow, this is my 2nd day, although it's not really easier than yesterday, coz I had to/ wanted to go to a market to get everything I need/ want to start a new but might be short stay in Japan. And these are what I got (well, just the food part):

If I can create my own heaven, there's so gonna be a section for Japanese food, including instant and frozen ones. By the way, after I shopped at this heavenly market, I found out that either I've been in Indiana, U.S.A. forever or I've been away from Taiwan so long that I've forgotten how it feels like to see pudding and fresh fish at a very general neighborhood market. Today, all throughout the day, I was really trying hard not to smile while I'm walking alone. ♪ I'm in heaven...I'm in heaven... ♪ went on and on when I was doing my shopping.

Ta-daa... my lunch bento box. And I just noticed that my Tofu hamburger, which is the main dish, is covered by the pair of chopsticks!! Sorry folks, but this tasted so good~~ yumm-o!! For only 400 yen, it's nearly impossible to get this quality for this price in the States. Plus, this restaurant is only a 7-minute-walk from my apartment. If the things that are happening to me doest make me say "oh, my sweet Jesus", then I must be a very hard-to-please person.
